Repairing, Reviewing and Updating Sage Ridge Laptops
If your child has a Sage Ridge laptop, System Administrator Mr. Derek Fitzpatrick can update it, send it in for repair or review it to ensure it is in working order for the 2025-2026 school year. Please contact Mr. Fitzpatrick at help@sageridge.org to schedule a time to drop off your Scorpion’s computer—the sooner you contact him for a time, the better. Repairs require a minimum of 2.5 weeks to complete. 

Windows 11 Migration
This summer, Sage Ridge School will finish its migration of all staff and students to Windows 11. Microsoft’s support for Windows 10 will end in October 2025 and Windows 10 will not be allowed on any campus computers for the 2025-2026 academic year. If you want your child’s computer updated to Microsoft 11 this summer, please email Mr. Fitzpatrick.

Need a New SRS Laptop? 
All grades 3-12 students must purchase a laptop for school use. Sage Ridge has a partnership with Laptop Schools. Click here to order your child's laptop.

All grades 3-12 students are assigned required summer reading and assignments. Students must bring their summer reading book(s) and any required notes, assignments, etc. on the first day of school. Click here for summer reading assignments for grades 3-12.

Upper School athletes participating in a Varsity sport must complete a yearly physical. Click here for the NIAA Physical Form. Please email the completed physical form to Athletic Director Sierra Starbuck. Familiarize yourself with the Athletics Handbook and Forms in the Athletics section of the menu on the left. 

All Upper School athletes MUST complete and submit Aktivate by the start of the season for each sport the student-athlete is competing. Athletes will not be eligible to compete if their Aktivate account is not up-to-date for every sport. Click the Aktivate Parent Manuel to view a step-by-step guide to setting up an account and submitting for clearance.

All students are required to have the following on file with Mrs. Laura Stephens in the Sage Ridge School Front Office at the start of a new school year:

• PDF of scanned birth certificate, passport or visa  
• Scanned medical insurance card for student 
• Official immunization records (see the Nevada school required vaccination schedule here) or provide a Nevada Preschool-12th Grade Religious Immunization Exemption Certificate or a Nevada Preschool-12th Grade Medical Immunization Exemption Certificate
• Completed SRS Physical Form (please note that Upper School athletes are also required to provide a completed NIAA Physical Form to Athletic Director Sierra Starbuck by August 1)

Parents can visit Mrs. Laura Stephens in the Front Office in the Sage Ridge School Webster Building with these items or scan and email them as a PDF to Mrs. Stephens. 

Once you log into your Compass account, a yellow bar should appear on your parent screen indicating you have forms and a checklist to review. Click on the checklist to open your student’s “Enrollment Checklist for 2025-2026.” Each parent and guardian associated with the child’s account must sign the following: 

• Family Handbook 2025-2026 

• Acceptable Use Policy Acknowledgment

• Medical Form

• Emergency Contacts

Please review each section in the checklist and type your name to sign each form. Make sure to hit “submit” after signing each form. Once you submit a form, a confirmation of the form’s submission will appear and Compass will ask you if you’d like to fill out the next form in the checklist. Sage Ridge recommends signing all of the documents in one sitting to ensure items are completed before the start of the school year. Please note that under your student's "files and forms" a button will say "Continue" for forms that do not have signatures from all parents and guardians until all signatures have been collected. You will receive communications from Compass (Blackbaud) prompting you to finish the forms until each parent and guardian listed in your contact card with parental access has logged in with their own credentials and signed the forms. 

Make sure each checklist section is completed by clicking “Checklist(s) to Review” and each form by clicking on the “Form(s) to Review” in the yellow bar. Checklists and forms need to be completed for each child at Sage Ridge School.
