Discover a School Designed to Inspire
See Sage Ridge in action, during the school day.
We invite parents and caregivers to experience Sage Ridge School during our Open House Tours—offered during school hours to give families an authentic look at learning in action.
Each 75-minute Open House Tour includes classroom visits, a guided walk through campus, and opportunities to meet students and faculty. Tours are facilitated by Sage Ridge’s leadership team, including the Head of School, Director of Enrollment, and Directors of the Lower and Upper Schools.
This experience is designed for families who want to understand what sets Sage Ridge apart: small class sizes, rigorous and engaging academics, strong relationships, and a whole-child approach that prepares students to thrive—academically and personally.
What You'll Experience
During your Open House Tour, you'll experience:
- • Live classroom visits across grade levels
- • A guided campus tour
- • Conversations with students and faculty
- • Insight into Sage Ridge's academic program, culture and community
- • Time with school leadership to ask questions and learn more
Open House Tours are customized for the Lower, Middle and Upper School.
Who Should Attend
All families exploring enrollment for grades 1–12 are invited to register for the event. Sage Ridge offers families:
- • Curriculum designed to challenge and develop the whole student
- • A close-knit, cross-divisional community with strong teacher and fellow student mentorship
- • Enrichment beyond the classroom including Outdoor Education, Sage Sessions, Debate, Mock Trial, Theatre, National Junior Classical League (Latin), Coding, Robotics and more

Tuesday March 10, 8:30-9:45 a.m.
Classroom visits include: PE, Writing, Green Building, Science and Social Studies
Middle School Grades 6-8 Open House Tours
Friday March 13 8:30 - 9:45 a.m.
Classroom visits include: History, English, Art, Science, Geometry and Music
Upper School Grades 9-12 Open House Tours
Thursday March 5 10:45 a.m. - Noon
Classroom visits include: Physics, Honors World Literature, AP Calc BC and Studio Art

From the first curtain rise in the fall to the final bow this spring, theatrical performance has been a defining thread of student life at Sage Ridge School. Across three productions and every grade of the school, students have stepped into roles that challenge them creatively, build confidence, and strengthen community—culminating this April with the Broadway musical Seussical!, with tickets now on sale.

With half the season over and four tournaments under our belts, the Sage Ridge School Speech & Debate Team is off to an amazing start! We had a record fifteen debaters make it to the final rounds, and came away with four third place finishes, four second place finishes, and three tournament championships at our early competitions.

Sage Ridge convened Reno-Tahoe parents to learn evidence-based strategies to help students be more persistent in the face of failure, perform more highly academically, and have better health, personal success, initiative, and knowledge about one's self.
